Kangaroos x Sapato D14

Designing the D14 Sneaker with Kangaroos and Sapato, in Celebration of documenta14, I embarked on an exciting journey to design a sneaker that seamlessly fused art and fashion. This venture marked my inaugural foray into crafting a wearable product from inception. Working closely with the Sapato team, we meticulously curated every detail, from selecting the perfect colors to refining the shoe’s shape. Drawing inspiration from the avant-garde spirit of art exhibiton documenta14, we pushed the boundaries of creativity, daring to combine existing Kangaroos shapes in innovative ways. The result was a one-of-a-kind sneaker design that transcended convention, embodying the ethos of both brands while paying homage to the esteemed art exhibition. Our collaborative approach fostered an environment of experimentation and exploration, allowing us to conceive something entirely new and groundbreaking.
